Lower Secondary Science Tuition in Hougang
Lower Secondary Science tuition for Secondary 1 and 2 students at 212 Hougang Street 21, a 3-minute walk from Kovan MRT. We follow the current MOE Lower Secondary Science syllabus at both G2 and G3, in your child's school order. Every class has at most 6 students, lessons are 2 hours, and fees are $90 a lesson.
Why Secondary 1 and 2 Science matters
Lower Secondary Science is where the habits for O Level Physics, Chemistry and Biology are formed: precise scientific words, clear explanations, and calculations set out step by step. Students who leave gaps here often struggle when they choose their Secondary 3 subjects. Good Science results in Secondary 2 also keep the door open to pure Physics and Chemistry.

How every lesson works
Each topic follows the Outclass Approach: Understand, Apply, Master, Perform, and your child moves on only when ready. After every lesson, parents see the topic, the stage reached and a tutor's note in our parent app. If your child joined after school started, the app also shows the earlier chapters not yet covered with us, so we can plan catch-up lessons.
Frequently asked questions
Do you teach G2 and G3 Science?
Yes. We follow your child's subject level and school, and adjust the depth and the practice questions to match.
My child's school teaches the chapters in a different order. Is that a problem?
No. MOE does not fix the order, so each school sets its own. We teach the chapter your child is doing in school and catch up on any earlier chapters that were missed.
Should my child start Physics and Chemistry early?
Strong Secondary 2 students sometimes start Secondary 3 Physics and Chemistry in the last term. We decide together once Lower Secondary Science is secure.
How much are lessons?
$90 a lesson, 2 hours, with at most 6 students per class. No registration or material fees.
Do you also teach Secondary 1 and 2 Math and English?
Yes: Secondary 1 Math, Secondary Math and English.
