O Level A Math Tuition in Hougang
O Level Additional Mathematics (A Math) tuition for Secondary 3 and 4 students at 212 Hougang Street 21, a 3-minute walk from Kovan MRT, following the SEAB 4049 syllabus. At most 6 students per class, 2-hour lessons, $90 a lesson.

The exam skills that earn the marks
- Algebra that holds up: factorising, completing the square, surds and logarithms without careless slips.
- Trigonometric identities and proofs, set out line by line.
- Calculus: differentiation, rates of change, maxima and minima, and integration for areas and kinematics.
- Method marks: clear working, so a slip late in a question still earns most of the marks.
How every lesson works
Every class has at most 6 students and lasts 2 hours. Each topic follows the Outclass Approach: Understand, Apply, Master, Perform, and your child moves on only when ready. After every lesson, parents see the topic, the stage reached and a tutor's note in our parent app, with a monthly progress report.
Frequently asked questions
Should my child take A Math?
It depends on your child's subject combination and how secure their E Math is. A Math builds on E Math algebra, so we check that first and advise after a few lessons.
My child is failing A Math. Is it too late?
Rarely. Most A Math marks come from a few core skills (algebra, trigonometry, calculus). We rebuild those first, then move to exam questions.
Do you also teach E Math?
Yes. Many students take both with us: see our E Math tuition.
How much are lessons?
$90 a lesson, 2 hours, at most 6 students. No registration or material fees.
